Troy Bowers, PLS, PE is a professional licensed Land Surveyor and a professional licensed Civil Engineer in the State of Missouri. Bowers Land Survey Co. provides a variety of surveying services for Cass, Jackson, Johnson, Bates, Vernon, Henry counties and neighboring communities. Our History
1967
Troy’s father Jerrell Bowers partnered with Howard Sherman and formed Sherman & Bowers Survey Company in 1967.
1987
After Mr. Sherman’s death in 1987, Mr. Bowers assumed responsibility of the business and the name was changed to Bowers Survey Company.
1992
Troy graduated from the University of Missouri, Kansas City with a degree in Civil Engineering in December of 1992. Troy grew up surveying and worked through high school and college learning the business from his father. After graduation he then decided to come back and join the family business.
2001
In 2001, Troy opened Bowers Engineering, Inc.
2014
In 2014, Troy formed Bowers Engineering and Surveying, Inc.
2017
In 2017, Troy merged his company with a larger Engineering and Surveying Company.
2020
After three years with a larger company he realized that he preferred being self-employed. He then formed Bowers Land Survey Co. LLC and is now serving Cass County and surrounding communities with a variety of land surveying services.
